Saturday, August 8th
Caritas Vocal Ensemble
MHPC is delighted to partner with Caritas Vocal Ensemble MD to present "I Am Light: A Choral Celebration of Identities." This choral music concert will feature works from composers of various identities (both living and deceased). Songs performed will cover a range of genres and languages all touching on a theme of light, love, loss, and continually fighting for justice. Tickets are available through Givebutter.com. Donation is $20 per person. Profits from this concert will be donated to the Luminus Network for New Americans. Doors will open to the audience at 2:30 pm, and the concert will begin at 3:00 pm.

Women's Book Club
Our book selection for September is "My Friends" by Fredrik Backman. At this meeting, we'll also be selecting our reads for the next year. We will meet in Hebron House at 7:00 pm. Please RSVP if you plan to attend!

Sermon in Action
This 5th Sunday is the next Sermon in Action opportunity. Grassroots has alerted us that there is a need for toiletries for men and women. We are currently collecting items, including gently used purses and drawstring backpacks, to create care kits.

Blessing of the Backpacks
This week in worship, we will gather together in community to bless our students and teachers as the new school year begins. Students are invited to bring their backpacks. Join us for this festive celebration!
