Mission

At Mt. Hebron Presbyterian Church, we believe that as we are growing in faith, we are called to serve.

Mission Team is charged with the responsibility of assisting the members of Mt. Hebron Presbyterian Church to spread God's love to people in need locally, nationally, and internationally. We are grateful for the many hands that come together to serve our community.

5th Sunday Mission

Throughout the year, we schedule special, hands-on mission projects that all members of our congregation are invited to help participate in. These projects are typically completed in one day, often immediately following Sunday Worship Service during Fellowship Hour.

Our Next Project

Card Ministry

The Card Ministry creates stamped cards that are available for sale in the church office. Our volunteers assemble cards for all occasions -- birthdays, Valentine's Day, sympathy, and just because. If you're looking for a crafty outlet, join us at our next card-making session! Each quarter, proceeds from the sale of the cards are given to a designated charity. The current recipient is the Howard County Pet Food Pantry. Contributions can include the purchase of cards and/or donations of pet food (canned or dry) for dogs or cats and cat litter.

Current Mission

S.W.A.T. (Stop Waste & Trash)

A team of volunteers pick up trash quarterly as part of the State's Adopt-A-Highway beautification program. Trash is collected from both sides of Rt. 40 from Centennial Lane to Greenway Drive. MHPC has participated in this program since May 1990.
