Throughout the year, we schedule special, hands-on mission projects that all members of our congregation are invited to help participate in. These projects are typically completed in one day, often immediately following Sunday Worship Service during Fellowship Hour.

The Card Ministry creates stamped cards that are available for sale in the church office. Each quarter, proceeds from the sale of the cards are given to a designated charity. The recipient for Q4 is Leftover Love Inc. Serving the greater Baltimore area, this organization transports "left over" unused food from restaurants, cafes, etc. to organizations which distribute food to organizations and families in need. Following CDC safety protocols for transportation and delivery, this ensures that unused food will not go to waste but will instead provide help to those in need. ​ Our volunteers assemble cards for all occasions -- birthdays, Valentine's Day, sympathy, and just because. A team of volunteers pick up trash quarterly as part of the State's Adopt-A-Highway beautification program. Trash is collected from both sides of Rt. 40 from Centennial Lane to Greenway Drive. MHPC has participated in this program since May 1990.
